Mad Dog Graphx Wins Honors
Anchorage, AK – Mad Dog Graphx has won seven honors from the 2013 Hermes Creative Awards, an international competition for creative professionals recognizing outstanding work in marketing and communications. In addition, Mad Dog received design awards from the American Advertising Federation (AAF) and the International Academy of Visual Arts (IAVA).
Mad Dog won three platinum Hermes Creative Awards – two for an annual report for Food Bank of Alaska (FBA), and one for a logo for Alaska Women’s Cancer Care; work for Alaska Youth Orchestras, Pyramid Printing, and Benchmark Construction each won gold. A logo for Alaskan photographer Kevin G. Smith won an honorable mention.
The FBA annual also won a silver NorthWest ADDY Award from the AAF, in the industry’s largest competition representing the best of advertising design in the northwest United States. And Mad Dog won three gold Communicator Awards from the IAVA – for an annual report and cover design, plus a holiday poster; a holiday card design won silver.
