Firm Designs Award Winners

Anchorage, AK – Two annual reports created by Mad Dog Graphx, an Anchorage advertising and marketing-design firm, have recently won several awards for clients, said the Anchorage design firm.

The 2006 annual for Food Bank of Alaska was awarded a Certificate of Design Excellence by Print magazine and appears in the current issue of the magazine. The report has also won a silver ADDY award, a Summit award, an American Graphic Design award, a gold 2007 Davey award, and a silver Creativity award.

The 2006 annual for The Alaska Community Foundation has won a silver ADDY award, a silver Summit award, an American Graphic Design award, a silver Davey award, a Creativity award, and first place for annual reports in the American Design Awards.

Growing a Startup

Delaney Thiele, founder and designer at Cloudberry, is partly of Yup’ik and Athabaskan descent, and takes inspiration from her Alaska Native heritage when choosing the materials and patterns for her line of handcrafted beaded earrings.   MORE
