Between Hope & Remembrance (2002–03)

FBA’s 2002–03 annual report took its inspiration from a quote by Franz Grillparzer, “Human life, young and old, takes place between hope and remembrance.” The focus was on statewide efforts to provide food services to those least able to fend for themselves – the very young and the elderly. These two age extremes must often rely on others for their care, and are most vulnerable when economic tides change. FBA offered multiple programs that helped to address issues of food insecurity for these sometimes marginalized groups.

The one-color booklet and a matching poster recognizing donors were housed in a matchbook-folded wrap with pocket flap, and utilized a blind emboss and white foil lettering to create a tactile cover.
